Producer’s corner: Mario is one of our favorite clients who entrusted us to work on the full production of his song for the first time in 2018, I believe. We’ve justified the trust by producing master tracks that helped Mario Ferraro, songwriter from Singapore, to kick-start a successful music career.

Mario, you come from a musical family – was music your choice from the beginning?
I grew up in a musical family in Italy, although I have now lived overseas since 1983. My father was a keen drummer and introduced me to Jazz and Latin music. At the age of 11, I started to study classical guitar and discovered classical music. Over the years I composed several songs and tunes, some of which was just for fun to tease my friends, whereas others were on more serious themes. Eventually, I invested in a basic keyboard, which expanded my choice of musical instruments and allowed me to take my compositions to a different level. I had a lot of fun, but such “homemade” methods did not give me the quality that I wanted and needed in order to share my music more broadly.
When you reached out to us, you mentioned that you needed a lot of help. What problem were you trying to solve?
I needed a lot of help to go from my initial musical concept to a musical piece of sufficient quality that I could feature online. I had also received requests from some organizations to write songs for them, so it became even important to do a quality job. I had no equipment, no musicians, no vocalists, and no experience of the arrangement and production process … and I really had no idea where to start.
How was that problem affecting you?
Before contacting Supreme Tracks, the limited equipment, and experience that I had at my disposal really limited my options, and made it impossible to reach a broader audience. I really wanted to give new life to some of my old songs and share them with others, rather than keeping them in a drawer for the rest of my life. In addition, I wanted to help those organizations that trusted me with their assignments, including a charity organization and a top-tier insurance company, so it was essential for me to find a trusted partner to work with.
Did you try to find any external collaborators to help out?
I contacted some local arrangers and producers, and explored a couple of online options, evaluating carefully the pros and cons of each option.
How about SupremeTracks – why did you choose us?
Supreme Tracks came across by far as the most flexible and comfortable option for me. The process was clearly explained to me, and I gave a lot of value to the flexibility to go through the entire process by email, in my own time. I have a very busy full-time job that makes it difficult for me to attend recording sessions in-person, hence the online approach worked incredibly well for me. In addition, Supreme Tracks proved to have a wonderful selection of session musicians and vocalists, which gave me the assurance that they could meet all my needs. The Supreme Tracks website gave a lot of information regarding the process and provided samples of previous projects, as well as reels of various vocalists. This gave me the confidence that I would have access to great resources. I was also very reassured to read about the fact that I would still retain a great deal of control throughout the process, to ensure that the final product would meet exactly my expectations.
We put a lot of effort into maintaining our website, so we are glad to see that our clients appreciate it. Can you imagine what scenario would have happened if you Had NOT worked with SupremeTracks?
Without SupremeTracks, I would have probably struggled to make progress so quickly with my songs, since my work schedule makes it very difficult to personally participate in recording sessions and face-to -ace meetings. I would also be more limited in my choice of artists to arrange and perform my music.
Online collaboration can be tricky – what risks did you consider prior to deciding to work with us?
I considered the inherent risk of doing business online with an organization that is on the other side of the world and transacting with people whom I never met personally. All my concerns were quickly dispelled when I saw some tangible results within a matter of days from sending my first music for arrangement.
What reservations did you have toward our collaboration?
My main reservations were whether to believe all the statements and promises featured on the website, but the Case Studies helped a lot to reassure myself that many other musicians had worked with Supreme Tracks and achieved excellent results.
It seems that the tracks we’ve worked on were really a game-changer for your career, agree? Have you seen any measurable benefits after working with us?
I consistently received excellent arrangements within a few days from sending you guys my demos. I receive very useful advice and suggestions when necessary, and at the same time, you have been enormously helpful and flexible to accommodate my requests, when I wanted some changes. Today I am delighted to have a few professionally produced songs in my portfolio, some of which are being used by reputable organizations, and some others that are playing on various platforms, including Spotify and some web-based radios. For me, these are very important outcomes that I have been able to achieve with relatively little time and effort, thanks to the help and dedication of the Supreme Tracks team.
One of my songs “We are Premier” was selected by a world-leading organization in the Insurance business as their “theme song” for the training programs of their top performers (known as the Million Dollar Round Table).
Another short song “Reach for a star” is being turned into the soundtrack for a short video to support children with brain tumor returning to school after surgery and therapy.
Two of my songs “Sweet child of mine” and “Mirror World” are now streaming on Spotify and playing on Radio Airplay, reaching audiences around the world.
